SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - Police in San Jose say they’ve arrested three men suspected in the shooting death of a man in the parking lot of a minimart last month.

The Mercury News reports (https://bit.ly/1DsriTm ) 21-year-old Ivan Matias Montalbo was taken into custody Friday on suspicion of murder in the death of 33-year-old Santrius Romel Lawrence.

Police say Lawrence was on foot when he had a brief exchange with someone in a car outside the South San Jose minimart on the morning of Aug. 2. Investigators say someone then emerged from the vehicle, opened fire and drove away, leaving Lawrence to die.

Two other men suspected of taking part in the killing - 23-year-old Cesar Cacho and 21-year-lld Jesus Rivera - were arrested last month. Police held off on announcing those arrests until tracking down Montalbo.

Investigators have not named a motive.
