KENNEWICK, Wash. (AP) - The Benton County sheriff’s office says a heart attack is suspected in the death Saturday of an inmate who was stricken while exercising in a recreation yard.

KVEW reports (https://bit.ly/1ylTqaG ) medical staff gave the inmate CPR until Kennewick Fire Department medics took the inmate to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland where the person was declared dead.

It was the second death in a month at the jail. A 26-year-old man died Aug. 30 after he was found with a sheet around his neck.
