JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) - A Juneau man who became lost while hunting ptarmigan has been found.

Authorities described 20-year-old Kevin Michaud as disoriented and hypothermic. He was found after a man reported seeing and talking to someone matching Michaud’s description near the Last Chance Mining Museum on Monday.

Alaska State Troopers say Michaud and a friend set out to hunt ptarmigan on Mount Roberts on Sunday morning. They got separated and Michaud told his friend he had slid off the trail and was trying to find his way back.
