HONOLULU (AP) - Honolulu police are looking for a driver who struck a police officer and fled.

The Honolulu Star-Advertiser (https://bit.ly/Z9MRsu) reports an officer at 2:20 a.m. Sunday stopped a vehicle suspected of being stolen on Lusitana Street in the Punchbowl area.

Police say the driver took off and struck the 30-year-old officer.

He was taken to a hospital in serious condition.

The driver Sunday night was at large.
