COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Gas is down again in Ohio, with prices at some stations in the state hovering just above the $3-a-gallon mark.

A gallon of regular gas was averaging $3.19 in Monday’s survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and WEX Inc. That’s 12 cents lower than a week ago and 19 cents less than last month at this time.

The Ohio average is lower than the national average, which was $3.34 on Monday. That’s about a nickel less than a week ago and a dime less than a month ago.

Among Ohio’s metropolitan areas, the Toledo area has lowest average at about $3.05 per gallon.

Analysts say gas prices likely will continue to fall in the coming weeks.
