JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) - Full service has been restored to all PATH lines following an electrical fire that disrupted service for several hours.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey says trains to 33rd Street in Manhattan and to Journal Square in Jersey City resumed running just after noon Monday. That came a few hours after service had resumed to the World Trade Center.

The rail service was disrupted after the fire broke out Sunday in a PATH tunnel in Manhattan and damaged the system’s power supply.

A Fire Department spokesman says the fire was reported at 3:38 p.m. at 19th Street and Sixth Avenue in Chelsea. No injuries were reported but the 23rd Street station was evacuated.
