CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - An all-natural, non-toxic pest control products manufacturer says it plans to lease 50,000 square feet of manufacturing space in Mooresville and eventually employ 380 full-time workers.

The Charlotte Observer reports (https://bit.ly/1sV3DCO ) Earth-Kind, based in Bismarck, North Dakota, announced its plans on Monday.

The company says it will invest $5.8 million in new machinery and equipment and initially employ 14 full-time workers. The company plans to grow to 380 full-time workers over four years.

CEO Kari Warberg Block said Earth-Kind selected Mooresville because of its “high quality of life and schools” and its location geographically to serve its growing customer base,

Earth-Kind’s customers include John Deere, Tractor Supply Company, ACE Hardware and Menards.
