BEAVER DAM, Wis. (AP) - Police have impounded the race car of the driver killed at Beaver Dam Raceway over the weekend.

But, investigators say the death of Scott Semmelmann appears to be nothing more than a tragic accident. The 47-year-old driver from Brookfield was killed during warm up laps at the racetrack Saturday night. The car apparently clipped another one, flipped and skidded into a concrete wall.

Beaver Dam Police Chief John Kreuziger tells WKOW-TV (https://bit.ly/1sh86oO ) the large crowd at the track that night helped investigators piece together what happened.
