PHOENIX (AP) - Former Arizona Gov. Fife Symington is among nearly 200 prominent Republicans who are endorsing Democrat Felecia Rotellini over the GOP candidate in the race for Arizona attorney general.

Symington, former Maricopa County Attorney Rick Romley, sports executive and businessman Jerry Colangelo and former Tucson Mayor Bob Walkup are among the endorsements Rotellini announced Monday.

Rotellini faces Mark Brnovich in November’s general election. Brnovich beat incumbent Tom Horne in last month’s Republican primary.

The race has drawn spending from national groups for both Republican and Democratic attorneys general associations.
