SEQUIM, Wash. (AP) - The Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe is donating a totem pole to the new City Hall in Sequim (skwim).

The Peninsula Daily News reports (https://bit.ly/1odAjpt ) the design by a tribal artist will tell the tribe’s sun origin story to explain why the sun always shines in Sequim.

The 30-foot Western red cedar log comes from the Hoh River Valley and will be mark the tribe’s partnership with the city.
