LAKE WORTH, Fla. (AP) - Art exhibits across Palm Beach County are seeking to put a spotlight on infant mortality.

Sixty-five sets of children’s footprints, cast in ceramic, are being unveiled Tuesday in Lake Worth in memory of the 65 infants who died last year in Palm Beach County.

Nine other public art projects are also focused on infant mortality, including quilts, drawings, paintings, collages, ceramics and plays.

They’re a collaboration between artists and the Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County and the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County.
