MARYDEL, Del. (AP) - Police are trying to identify a man they say stole credit cards from four residents of a Delaware care facility.

Delaware State Police say the cards were stolen from a safe at the Hidden Acres Rest Home in Marydel. Police describe Hidden Acres as a residential home for people with disabilities.

Police say sometime last month, someone stole four debit cards from a safe inside the home. The home’s director realized they were gone after being notified from one of the card companies that it had detected suspicious activity.

Police say a man had been using two of the cards at various stores throughout Kent County, with charges of more than $400.
