MAXWELTON, W.Va. (AP) - A Veterans Affairs clinic in Greenbrier County has resumed treating patients following a closure prompted by air quality concerns.

The VA closed the Greenbrier County Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Maxwelton on June 6 and commissioned air quality tests after several employees became ill.

U.S. Senators Jay Rockefeller and Joe Manchin, and Congressman Nick Rahall, announced on Monday that the clinic has reopened.

Manchin says in a news release that the clinic serves nearly 2,000 veterans in Greenbrier, Monroe, Pocahontas and Summers counties.
