DAVISBURG, Mich. (AP) - No injuries are reported after a hot air balloon made an emergency landing in southeastern Michigan.

Doreen Schwarze tells The Detroit News (https://bit.ly/1ugByvh ) that she was in her garage Monday evening in Davisburg when she saw the balloon passing her house. She says the balloon carrying several adults and children was headed from Fenton when it landed in a nearby yard.

The Oakland County sheriff’s department says a deputy responded to the scene about 35 miles northwest of Detroit.

Some motorists who watched the landing helped out those aboard. Schwarze says the children in the balloon were apparently OK and laughing when they got out.
