BAKER CITY, Ore. (AP) - Authorities say human bones have been found along with clothing and a backpack in Baker County and appear to be those of someone who died up to two years ago of a non-violent cause.

The Baker City Herald reported Tuesday (https://bit.ly/1uEZhlp ) that authorities have a tentative identification, but relatives haven’t been notified. The sheriff’s office says it is awaiting results of an autopsy.

A hunter reported finding the bones last week in the Marble Creek area.
