NORTH LIBERTY, Iowa (AP) - A North Liberty woman stole more than $30,000 over seven years and lost it at casinos, police said.

Nancy Salisbury, 66, is charged with theft and ongoing criminal conduct, both felonies. Online court records don’t list the name of her attorney.

Salisbury was authorized to manage the day-to-day finances of her victim, police said, and in 2007 she began withdrawing money from the victim’s account for her own use. The victim’s name wasn’t released.

Salisbury gambled away the money, police said.
