MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - A Division of Natural Resources officer says a Morgantown man’s death has been ruled as an accidental drowning.

Corporal C.B. Wade tells The Dominion Post (https://bit.ly/1pbxkhz ) that 39-year-old Manuel Nicholas Nevera wasn’t wearing a life jacket when he went out alone on the Monongahela River on a personal watercraft on Sept. 1.

Wade says Nevera couldn’t swim and had little experience using the watercraft.
