PHILADELPHIA (AP) - An overturned tractor-trailer that spilled fuel and garbage onto I-95 prompted closure of lanes in both directions, snarling early-morning traffic in Philadelphia.

Officials said the southbound truck went out of control and slammed into a guardrail in the Bridesburg section of the city at about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The tractor-trailer was righted shortly after 6:30 a.m. Tuesday and crews were working to remove it from the highway. Hazardous materials crews were at the scene to clean up the fuel spill.

Officials said the driver was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital for treatment of minor injuries and was reported in stable condition.
