NEWFANE, Vt. (AP) - Voters in a Vermont school district are taking another look at a proposed solar project.

Voters in Newfane and Brookline are being asked to attend a special meeting to consider the project on Oct. 23.

The Brattleboro Reformer reports (https://bit.ly/1bI41RH) the project would be on property at the Newbrook Elementary School and would reduce utility bills. Unlike an earlier proposal, it would not require any investment by the school.

The school relies on aging boilers for heat.
