STUTTGART, Ark. (AP) - Officials say an overnight fire has destroyed a courthouse annex building that houses the Arkansas County sheriff’s office and county judge’s office.

The fire broke out early Tuesday at the building in Stuttgart. County Judge Sonny Cox says there’s no sign the fire is suspicious and that no injuries were reported.

Cox tells the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette (https://bit.ly/1rixOWo ) that the fire started in the back of the building near some heating and cooling units, then spread throughout the building. He says the second floor collapsed onto the first.

The building also houses the Arkansas County 911 call center, and those calls are now being forwarded to the Stuttgart Police Department.
