TACOMA, Wash. (AP) - Police say a trailer containing four vintage motorcycles stolen in Tacoma has been recovered in Seattle.

Seattle Detective Patrick Michaud said police got a tip Wednesday from a witness who spotted the trailer. The trailer had been featured in a Facebook post.

A pickup truck, the trailer and five motorcycles were stolen earlier this week from a Tacoma hotel parking lot. The News Tribune reports that Jon Neuman says his pickup truck was found abandoned in Auburn, between Seattle and Tacoma.

Neuman and friends were in Tacoma this past weekend for the 2014 Motorcycle Cannonball Endurance Run, a 4,000-mile ride that ended Sunday.

Michaud says the bikes have been dusted for fingerprints and the theft remains under investigation.
