ATLANTA (AP) - Don’t worry if you see heavy black smoke billowing near Atlanta’s airport Wednesday afternoon.

Atlanta Fire Rescue Department firefighters and rescue workers are set to carry out a live burn training exercise from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Firefighters plan to simulate and extinguish a plane fire. The drill is part of an annual certification for airport rescue firefighters.

The department says motorists and nearby residents will likely see black smoke coming from the direction of the airport.
