CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Casper police are looking for a man they say shot a woman in her home.

Police say the man was romantically involved with the woman. They say he shot her at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in an apartment on the 2500 block of South Jefferson Street.

Police say the man fled in a car and has not been apprehended.

The Casper Star-Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/Y6bsgl) the woman was taken to the Wyoming Medical Center for treatment of at least one gunshot wound. A police official was unsure of her condition.

A spokeswoman for the Wyoming Medical Center announced the hospital would remain on lockdown while the shooter remains at large. The emergency room remains open.
