PHOENIX (AP) - State authorities have served search warrants at a custom motorcycle shop in Phoenix and a Glendale home in a months-long investigation into motorcycle chop-shop activities.

Arizona Department of Public Safety officials say no arrests were made Wednesday, but several suspects have been contacted and interviewed.

They say some of the charges in the warrants include fraudulent schemes, tampering with a vehicle identification numbers, theft of means of transportation, operating a criminal syndicate, trafficking in stolen property, possession of stolen property, and operating a chop shop.

DPS detectives reported finding stolen Harley Davidson motorcycles that were being torn down and resold as custom Ultra Motor Group motorcycles out of a Phoenix shop.
