GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - Two Green Bay police officers have been released from a hospital after their squad cars crashed on the way to a wreck.

The Green Bay Police Department says the officers hit each other Tuesday on a downtown bridge. Lt. Jeffrey Brester tells WLUK-TV that one car rear-ended the other, causing the first to hit a barrier on the bridge. He says the cars were damaged but the officers weren’t hurt.

Police say they don’t know how fast the officers were driving. They haven’t been identified.

Police say a person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries in the moped and vehicle crash where the officers were headed.
