CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Gov. Maggie Hassan is participating in a Q-and-A style forum hosted by the University of New Hampshire Law School and New Hampshire Public Radio.

Hassan will take audience questions Wednesday night as part of an on-going series of conversations with candidates for federal and statewide office. Hassan, the Democratic incumbent, faces Walt Havenstein (HAV’-ehn-styn) in the general election. The interview is set to air on NHPR Thursday morning.

Hassan is characterizing herself as a bipartisan problem solver in her campaign for a second term in office. During her first term, the Legislature passed a balanced budget nearly unanimously, accepted federal money to expand Medicaid and approved a 4.2-cent gas tax increase to pay for road and bridge projects.
