NORMAL, Ill. (AP) - Illinois State University has indefinitely suspended freshman tight end Malik Harris.

Football coach Brock Spack said in a news release Wednesday that Harris was suspended for unspecified conduct. Spack said Harris “needs to take care of some personal matters at this time” but didn’t elaborate.

Harris has an ankle injury that was forcing him to redshirt this season. He is from Omaha, Nebraska.
