GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Thom Tillis is getting help from another governor coming to North Carolina in his hotly contested campaign with Kay Hagan for U.S. Senate - this time in former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.

Tillis and Bush were expected to visit a Greensboro company Wednesday with the state’s director of the National Federation of Independent Businesses. The NFIB has considered Tillis a small-business ally while state House speaker.

A Tillis campaign spokesman also confirmed Bush would hold a fundraiser for the fellow Republican while in Greensboro.

Tillis has received similar assistance in the past week from New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley and North Carolina’s own Pat McCrory. Christie came to Wilmington, while Haley and McCrory visited Fayetteville.

Like Christie, Bush is considered a potential 2016 presidential candidate.
