KINGMAN, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities in northwestern Arizona say they have found the body of a missing Kingman man in the desert north of Lake Havasu City.

Mohave County Sheriff’s officials say foul play isn’t suspected in the death of 77-year-old Roger Dale Jacobson, who was last seen driving away from his home on March 31.

They say Jacobson’s body was found Wednesday about 1 ½ miles from his van, which was stuck in the sand.

An Arizona Department of Public Safety helicopter spotted Jacobson’s vehicle in a wash Tuesday evening, but there was no sign of the man in the immediate area.

Sheriff’s officials say the search was called off until Wednesday morning and the body was found about 1 p.m.
