ROCKWELL, Iowa (AP) - A man who was thrown from a horse has been flown to a Mason City hospital for treatment.

The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office said officers and medics were dispatched around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday to an address in Rockwell. They found Todd Bilharz, 43, who’d been tossed off the horse.

Bilharz was flown by helicopter to Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa with injuries that were described as non-life-threatening.
