LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Key figures from The Center for Public Integrity’s look at television advertising in races for state offices in Arkansas. The dollar amounts are for advertising that aired prior to Sept. 8, not future commercial buys, and does not include production costs.

GOVERNOR:

Asa Hutchinson (R)

Ran 3,000 positive ads at a cost of $1.1 million

Ran 418 ads that had a mix of positive and negative messages at a cost of $191,600

Mike Ross (D)

Ran 1,810 positive ads at a cost of $605,900

Ran 188 negative ads at a cost of $80,700

Ran 821 ads that had a mix of positive and negative messages at a cost of $408,400

Republican Governors Association

Ran 3,330 negative ads targeting Ross at a cost of $846,000

Jobs and Opportunity (an affiliate of the Democratic Governors Association)

Ran 1,979 negative ads targeting Hutchinson at a cost of $736,300

Ran 347 ads that had a mix of positive and negative messages at a cost of $82,500
