ORANGEBURG, S.C. (AP) - A man has been charged with murder following last week’s shooting death of a 30-year-old man in an Orangeburg motel parking lot.

Multiple media outlets are reporting that 21-year-old Jeffrey Keezel of St. Matthews was charged Tuesday afternoon.

Police found the body of Ricardo Sprinkle in his vehicle in the early morning hours of Sept. 17. Sprinkle died after being shot once in the face while parked at the motel.

Police picked up Keezel after a traffic stop late Tuesday. It wasn’t immediately clear whether he had an attorney.
