LONE GROVE, Okla. (AP) - Authorities say a 28-year-old Oklahoma man was killed when his four-wheeler collided with a tractor-trailer.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the collision happened Tuesday night near Lone Grove in Carter County. A preliminary report offers few details but says Cory Murfin of Wilson was killed when his ATV collided with the tractor-trailer.

The driver of the truck wasn’t hurt.

The highway patrol says troopers will interview witnesses and conduct a technical investigation into the cause of the crash over the next four to six weeks. Toxicology reports are pending, and the highway patrol says its findings will be sent to the local prosecutor’s office to determine whether any charges should be filed.
