MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Memphis Police have shut down a local grocery store after it was declared a public nuisance.
According to a news release from the Shelby County district attorney’s office, three people were shot last month at the It’s All Good Grocery. One of the victims died.
The store also has been the subject of numerous complaints of drug trafficking, gang loitering, intimidation and robbery.
Six arrests have been made at the store over the past 12 months.
The store was closed on Wednesday after Environmental Court Judge Larry Potter signed a petition prepared by the district attorney’s office.
The grocery store will remain closed pending further order of the court.
