GLEN JEAN, W.Va. (AP) - The National Park Service says the cleanup of a train derailment could delay travel on a road in the New River Gorge National River.

Park service spokeswoman Robin Snyder says two cars of a CSX train derailed Friday night just above the Fayette Station Rapids and landed in the river. The derailment spilled soybeans, primarily on the river’s banks.

No one was injured.

Snyder says there could be minor delays on Fayette Station Road over the next week as heavy equipment and trucks travel through the area.
