CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - A Casper man accused of setting a woman’s apartment on fire has pleaded guilty to first-degree arson.

The Casper Star-Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1sLnaLG ) Adam Wayne Barelle entered his plea Monday in Natrona County District Court. According to court records, he set the apartment on fire March 29 because the woman had not paid him for drugs he gave her.

The blaze was set at the entrance of the home and was put out with a fire extinguisher.

Barelle was arrested July 5 for methamphetamine possession. Investigators say two days later he confessed to starting the fire at the apartment.
