WINDSOR, Colo. (AP) - A 60-year-old man drowned Sunday in a small lake near Windsor where he’d gone to sail a model boat.

The Coloradoan reports (https://noconow.co/1plRJAJ ) that Randy McLean was reported missing Sunday afternoon when he didn’t return.

Windsor Severance Fire Rescue found some of the victim’s belongings on the shore of the lake. Shortly after, the fire department called in a Greeley dive team to search for the man.

At about 4:45 p.m., the dive team pulled the body from the water.

Police say McLean entered the reservoir, fully clothed, after his radio-controlled boat.
