DUNDEE, Ore. (AP) - Police in the Dundee, Oregon, area southwest of Portland say a highway was temporarily closed and traffic disrupted after a backhoe apparently severed a 2-inch natural gas service line.

No one was injured. Police say Highway 99W was closed for about an hour Monday afternoon.

NW Natural gas company repaired the line and said there was no service interruption to customers.
