MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - A New Hampshire man is accused of trying to evade an officer while driving a stolen car.

WMUR-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1rFeKn2) police said an officer tried to pull over 42-year-old Paul Frascona of Manchester for a traffic violation at about 1:45 a.m. Monday in the city. The officer said Frascona started to pull over, but then took off, losing control of the car and crashing into a guardrail.

Police said Frascona fled into the woods and police eventually caught up with him. He faces charges including disobeying an officer, resisting arrest, conduct after an accident and receiving stolen property.

It was not immediately known if he had a lawyer.
