ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - Police in Rochester have released the name of the man who was fatally shot inside a late-night eatery over the weekend.

Authorities tell local media that 23-year-old Jamar Paige of Irondequoit (uh-RAHN’-duh-kwoyt) was shot in the upper torso during a fight around 3 a.m. Sunday at Mark’s Texas Hots on Lake Avenue.

Page was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Police haven’t reported any arrests.

The Democrat and Chronicle reports that the restaurant has been forced to shut down at least three times dating back to 1993 because of persistent issues of violence.
