RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J. (AP) - State police have released the name of a tractor-trailer truck driver killed in a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike last week.

They say 54-year-old Robert Johnston, of Bayonne, died Friday when his truck struck a wrecked Jeep and overturned on a northbound stretch of the highway in Ridgefield Park. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities say the Jeep’s driver, 58-year-old Thomas Andrews of Keyport, had lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the median.

Andrews suffered a head injury and was treated at a hospital.
