CONWAY, Ark. (AP) - University of Central Arkansas kick returner Jatavious Wilson has been named the Southland Conference’s Special Teams Player of the Week.

UCA says the conference announced the selection Monday after Wilson returned three kickoffs for 103 yards Saturday, including a 78-yard return that set up a UCA touchdown against Nicholls.

The Bears defeated Nicholls 52-18.

Southeastern Louisiana quarterback Bryan Bennett was named the conference Offensive Player of the Week and Sam Houston State defensive end P.J. Hall is the Defensive Player of the Week.
