ROSEBURG, Ore. (AP) - Authorities say a woman reported missing on her way to Crater Lake has turned up safe.

Her family and friends reported to police that 51-year-old Andria C. Terrell hadn’t been in touch and couldn’t be reached by cellphone. Early Monday, the State Police and the Douglas County sheriff’s department put out an appeal for help.

The State Police said later Monday morning they’d been in touch with her by cellphone, she was in the Crater Lake area, and she needed no assistance.

Terrell is a traveling nurse from Georgia who’s been working in Eugene.
