DETROIT (AP) - Federal authorities have filed a complaint against a man who they say rammed into U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers near the Ambassador Bridge in Detroit with a 2-year-old in his car.

The Detroit News reports (https://bit.ly/1uxPMoa ) police say the 25-year-old man was intoxicated during the Aug. 27 incident at the Ambassador Bridge. He was charged with assault on a federal officer with a dangerous weapon and causing injury.

The complaint says he sped away when officers noticed his car stopped near the bridge and told him to pull over. It says he rammed a customs vehicle.
