RUSTON, La. (AP) - Louisiana Tech head coach Tyler Summitt says guard Lulu Perry has been dismissed from the women’s basketball program because of repeated violations of team rules.

Summitt, in a news release Wednesday, said the university had given Perry multiple opportunities to “adjust her decision-making process off the court” but she repeatedly made “poor choices that ultimately led to her dismissal.”

Summitt did not provide any details of the alleged violations.

Perry, a junior from Benton, Louisiana, saw action in 60 games for Louisiana Tech, including 41 starts. She averaged 10.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game, while shooting 33 percent from the floor.
