AMSTERDAM, N.Y. (AP) - A 69-year-old man faces manslaughter charges for a crash that killed two women and a child in the Mohawk Valley.

The Albany Times-Union (https://bit.ly/1uin5fP ) reports that David Bain of Amsterdam was arrested Tuesday on a warrant from a sealed Montgomery County Court indictment.

The sheriff’s office says Bain’s van crossed over the double yellow lines on Route 67 in the town of Amsterdam on March 10, 2013, and collided with a Honda sedan driven by 33-year-old Tanya Sleight.

Sleight and her friend, 38-year-old Shyara Concepcion, were pronounced dead at the scene, and 9-year-old Elijah Sleight died later at a hospital. Two younger children were also injured.

Bain was arraigned and sent to the county jail on $25,000 bail.
