GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) - Police in Great Falls are asking for help in identifying a possible witness to the Aug. 14 death of Cascade County Deputy Joe Dunn.

A dash cam picked up a picture of a Toyota Tundra pickup that was traveling eastbound on U.S. Highway 89 east of Great Falls about the time Dunn was killed.

Officer Katie Cunningham says the video wasn’t clear enough to see the numbers on the license plate or identify the color. She says the pickup was a gray or brown extended cab with a grille guard.

Adam Sanchez is charged with deliberate homicide in Dunn’s death. Prosecutors allege he intentionally swerved his vehicle and hitting Dunn while Dunn was out of his patrol car.
