YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) - The Yakima City Council has approved the design for a downtown plaza that could be built in a parking lot across the street from the Capitol Theater.
The Yakima Herald-Republic reports (https://bit.ly/1sZv2om) the council voted Tuesday night on a design option that compromised on parking.
The city hopes private funding would help with the cost of the $10 million plaza.
