NASHUA, N.H. (AP) - The New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority and the city of Nashua are receiving a total of $6.8 million in grants to protect families from lead-based paint.

The city of Nashua will address lead hazards in 170 housing units for low-income families with children. The finance authority will address lead hazards in 205 housing units.

The grants were announced Tuesday by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
