ANSTED, W.Va. (AP) - Hawks Nest State Park’s lodge and other facilities have reopened following completion of electrical upgrades.

Hawks Nest superintendent John Bracken says the upgrades included replacing a 45-year-old transformer.

A planned power outage closed the lodge, restaurant and other facilities on Monday. Bracken said Tuesday in a news release that the upgrades took less time than anticipated to complete.
